Permanent, Part Time Kennel Assistant
We are looking for a part time kennel team player with a strict attention to detail. Primary duties include animal care, exercise and enrichment and maintaining a clean and organized hospital.
Duties will include but are not limited to keeping cages clean and sanitized; walking, feeding and picking up after animals; reporting on the animal’s condition to the veterinarian or technician; bathing, nail trimming and assisting the technician and doctor. Some reception duties to aid the full time receptionists.
Cleaning is a HUGE part of this job and we expect high standards. Excellent record keeping and time management is expected. Grooming experience an asset but not required.
Hours range from 24-30 per week. Thursday through Saturday/Sunday, evening, weekend and holidays.

Permanent, Part Time Dog Groomer
Busy animal hospital in south Mississauga is looking for an experienced and certified dog groomer. This is a contract position making 60 percent commission, and offering pet medical and supply discounts. You need to supply your own scissors, clippers and blades. We have clients for you to do your magic on but we invite you to bring your own customers along as well. This position is suited for someone looking to work 2-3 days a week grooming 3-6 dogs per shift. Although this is a contract position you will still be a part of our team. We will handle the appointment scheduling, cash transactions, lending a hand if needed and even doing the Timmy runs.
If selected for an interview you will be asked to do two grooms and provide references, two of which need to be employer related. We would like to see your portfolio as well.
